It was just a perfect match for a short break in Jeffersonville with excellent value for money. The hot water was plentiful, which was a great relief after hiking. If you're looking for a quiet stay, consider earplugs for the street noise.

The location was charming and felt like stepping back in time

but the room itself was quite small and could use some updates. The steep stairs were a challenge, especially for older guests. While the breakfast was homemade and delicious, we were surprised to learn we had to request basic room services.

I usually appreciate having that available. I did hear some noise from the adjacent rooms, which disrupted my sleep a little. The breakfast served was delightful—definitely a highlight. The staff were friendly, and service was prompt during breakfast. But the check-in process could use a smoother approach. I had to wait a while before anyone attended to me. The attached tavern was convenient for a quick meal, although it felt crowded at times. Overall, this inn has a lot to offer, but a few tweaks would enhance the experience.

We had a lovely stay with cozy, comfortable beds and a charming atmosphere. I enjoyed a relaxing massage while my partner tried out their live music nights. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit tight, but it didn't ruin our experience at all. 😊
